Dancing Mice dolls are inspired by childhood memories of dance classes, fluffy skirts and fancy shoes.

The mice are made from soft cotton, wool felt and stuffed with Canadian wool. I’ve made their tutus  from an unbleached cotton voile. The mice have Victorian shoe button eyes and antique linen whiskers. Finally,  the shoes are painted and distressed to evoke a time-worn feeling and a label of authenticity is stitched in place.

Every doll is hand made by me in my studio with love and under a scrupulous eye. I use carefully selected new & antique materials of the highest quality. My process ensures each doll is one of a kind and will be a cherished friend for years to come.
